Job Summary:
IT Veterans is currently seeking a LAN/WAN Engineer SME to join our team. You must have an active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to gain and maintain a CI poly.
Job Details:
- Serves as a recognized leader in their field of expertise and is frequently sought out by peers and stakeholders for advice and guidance.
- Provides high-level support, research, and analysis for exceptionally complex problems and processes related to their subject matter area.
- Serves as a technical expert on executive-level project teams, offering technical direction, interpretation, and alternative solutions. Areas of expertise may include Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design and Architecture, Implementation, Systems Integration, and Network/Communications Systems Management.
- Performs highly specialized technical tasks involving the latest and most advanced technologies.
- Works closely with contract management and government personnel to ensure problems are clearly defined and solutions meet customer requirements.
- May act as a technical consultant for one or multiple projects, leveraging deep expertise in the relevant domain.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to the position; an additional 4 years of may be substituted in lieu of a degree
- Minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience in addition to education level
- Must possess current DoD 8570 IAT II and CCNP or JNCIP or equivalent
- Experience working in a DoD or IC environment desired
- Current active TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph
