IT Veterans is looking for a Functional Specialist/Advisor II to support the Strategic Investment & Operations Planning (SIOP) Office in its Total Asset Management (TAM) program. This role focuses on Enterprise Property Management for government property, plant, and equipment, ensuring compliance, accountability, and efficiency.

Job Duties:
  • Reconcile inventory reports and maintain asset records in NGA’s Accountable Property System of Record (APSR).
  • Assist with the Lost, Damaged, or Destroyed (LDD) property program.
  • Issue and track barcodes for government property.
  • Conduct regular data maintenance and reconciliation of asset records and financial information.
  • Manage property accountability and ensure accurate records for all real and personal property.
  • Prepare and contribute to monthly summary metrics and reports.
  • Maintain auditable property records and transaction history files in compliance with internal controls.
  • Review contracts to ensure proper Government Furnished Property (GFP) clauses (FAR 52.245-1, DFAR, NARI) are included.
  • Track contracts, disposals, e-waste, and sanitization activities to meet reporting requirements.
  • Support quarterly financial reporting and asset delivery reconciliation.
  • Coordinate product catalog requests, funding requirements, and capital asset records.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure alignment of logistics processes, systems, and procedures.

Required Qualifications:
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to present to diverse audiences.
  • Experience making strategic-level decisions in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint-based platforms.
  • Hands-on experience in logistics support activities such as:
    • Inventory management
    • Distribution and warehouse management
    • Transportation and disposal of government property
    • Contract property administration and accountable records management
  • Ability to analyze logistics data, identify improvements, and implement operational enhancements.
  • Experience assessing vendor operations and ensuring quality standards compliance.
  • Familiarity with logistics information systems such as:
    • APSR (Accountable Property System of Record)
    • ERP Property Management Systems
    • In-Transit Visibility (ITV)
    • Automated Identification Technology (AIT)
  • Solid understanding of DoD logistics policies, FAR, and DFAR as they relate to Government Furnished Property (GFP)
  • You must have an active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to gain and maintain a CI poly.
