IT Veterans is seeking a Functional Specialist/Advisor III to join our team supporting the Strategic Investment & Operations Planning (SIOP) Office and its Total Asset Management (TAM) efforts. This role focuses on Enterprise Property Management, ensuring accountability and lifecycle management of government property, plant, and equipment. You must have an active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to gain and maintain a CI poly.

What You’ll Do:
  • Support the management of NGA’s personal and real property, including IT assets, facilities, and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain accountable property records in NGA’s Accountable Property System of Record (APSR).
  • Reconcile inventory reports, issue barcodes, and maintain accurate asset and financial records.
  • Administer the Lost, Damaged, or Destroyed (LDD) property program.
  • Oversee excess property processing and government property disposal.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable policies including DODI 5000.64, FAR 52.245-1, DFAR, and NARI clauses.
  • Provide project management expertise for property valuation, asset life cycle, and logistics improvements.
  • Track government property on contracts, support quarterly financial reporting, and assist with asset delivery reports.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to align logistics processes and ensure compliance with financial and contractual regulations.
  • Develop briefings, project plans, metrics, and monthly summary reports for leadership.

Required Qualifications:
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; able to present information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to make strategic decisions in a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint-based websites.
  • Experience in logistics support activities including:
    • Inventory management
    • Distribution and warehouse management
    • Transportation and disposal of government property
    • Accountable records management and contract property administration
  • Ability to analyze data to improve logistics operations and vendor compliance.
  • Experience with logistics information systems including:
    • Accountable Property Systems of Record (APSR)
    • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
    • In-Transit Visibility (ITV)
    • Automated Identification Technology (AIT)
  • Understanding of DoD logistics policies, FAR, and DFAR as they relate to Government Furnished Property (GFP).
  • You must have an active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to gain and maintain a CI poly.
